Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Action Play Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), BC No. 2187895, registered in the British Virgin Islands, handles information in connection with the Quacked application and related services ("Service").
We are committed to protecting your privacy. The Service is designed so that we have minimal access to your data by default.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
The Service is built around end-to-end encryption and provable deletion. As a result:
- We do not read, access, or store the contents of your messages.
- We do not log message metadata such as who you communicate with or when.
- We do not store your private keys or recovery phrase.
- We do not require a name, phone number, or email address to use the Service.
2. Information That May Be Processed
In the course of operating the Service, limited technical information may be processed transiently, such as:
- IP addresses, for the purpose of establishing connections (not logged or retained).
- Encrypted message payloads, which are relayed between users and are not readable by us.
- Public wallet addresses, which are used for identity and authentication.
None of this information is stored, sold, or shared with third parties.
3. On-Chain Data
Cryptographic proofs related to message expiry are committed to a public blockchain (Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network). This data consists of hashed metadata used to verify that deletion conditions have been met. It does not contain message content, user identities, or any personally identifiable information.
Blockchain data is public and immutable by nature. We do not control or have the ability to remove data once it has been committed to the blockchain.
4. Encryption
All messages are encrypted on your device before being transmitted. The encryption keys are generated and managed locally. We do not have access to your decryption keys and cannot read your messages under any circumstances.
5. Data Retention
We do not retain message content or communication metadata. Encrypted message payloads are relayed in real-time and are not stored on our servers beyond the time required for delivery. Once a message's expiry condition is met, the associated decryption key can no longer be derived by any party.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service may interact with third-party blockchain networks for the purpose of committing deletion proofs. These networks operate independently and are subject to their own terms and policies. We do not share user data with any third-party service providers.
7. Cookies and Analytics
The Quacked application does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services. The website (quacked.com) may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected through the website.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the British Virgin Islands.
11. Contact
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at contact@quacked.com.
